Desk Worthy
Editorial Policy
Desk Worthy publishes a page only when it answers a specific MacBook display, dock, or monitor decision that can be supported with identifiable evidence.
How compatibility data is verified
Host profiles require an exact MacBook family or a clearly bounded model group, an official Apple support source, a verification date, lid-open and lid-closed native external-display limits, and a documented mode summary. Dock profiles require an exact model, manufacturer specifications, display transport, macOS display count, resolution and refresh limits, DisplayLink requirements, and advertised power delivery.
How product paths are presented
A commercial button may appear only when its destination is the exact model used by the compatibility record. Marketplace search pages and broad category pages are not rendered as exact-product recommendations. When no exact commercial path exists, the page links to the official specification instead.
Compatibility is not hands-on testing
Official specifications can establish display limits, transport, ports, charging, and software requirements. They cannot prove sleep/wake reliability, cable quality, firmware behavior, panel comfort, or performance with every peripheral. Those variables remain explicit verification tasks.
What we avoid
We do not copy merchant descriptions, describe specification research as hands-on testing, make universal compatibility claims, or recommend a product only because an affiliate link exists. Unknown or unsupported combinations must remain conditional or not recommended.
Updates and corrections
Desk setup products change frequently. Prices, availability, firmware behavior, model revisions, and affiliate links may change after publication. If you find an error, email fsdfs8878@gmail.com with the page URL and the detail that should be reviewed.
